IPL STARTING DATE 2020:

Fans summer was ruined after IPL was canceled as it is a carnival of great matches and enjoyment for straight 2 months. But at last, the BCCI decided to conduct IPL this year itself but in a safer region as India is one of the worst countries in the world by the pandemic. This time summer was ruined but Winter will be wonderful.

This time most probably IPL 2020 will be conducted in UAE between October-November. Although the tournament is subject to Govt. Clearance, but the fans have already come to the edge of their seats. IN UAE CORONA VIRUS conditions are not as harsh as in India. But they are still trying to control the situation as soon as possible for IPL.

After speaking to IAN, it is seen that they have already started preparing for the logistics and also have zeroed in the hotel they wish to stay in. Now they are also in a confusion whether to allow people to watch the matches or not but updates regarding that will soon be disclosed.

Now everybody was wondering what led the BCCI to conduct the cricketing extravaganza even in this pandemic. The main reason being that the ICC after a meeting on Friday (17 July 2020) decided to postpone the T20 WORLD CUP which was scheduled to be held in AUSTRALIA. As both the events after the pandemic struck were scheduled in the same time period IPL was being called off. But now due to the T20 world cup postponement, BCCI is approaching the Indian Govt. whether the event can happen in India or not, and if the Govt. disagrees due to unfavorable conditions UAE will be the destination.

After the news got out the Social Media was taken by a storm with all types of Hashtags and memes.
