Honda Cars India: “Honda From Home” online platform launched

Following the dynamism of the changing scenario of digitalization amid the fight against the deleterious pandemic, the Japanese based automobile company Honda had launched “Honda From Home”. This online platform will enable the customers to book their honda cars without stepping into the showroom. By following just five simple steps one can book the desired car.

The digital portal enables prospective buyers to book their planned cars from the comfort of their homes. As India continues to be under lock-down to fight against the pandemic COVID-19, this initiative is quite overwhelming.

You can book the car by following the five simple steps-

  • Log onto Honda Cars India’s official website or Click here to redirect(Click on BOOK NOW).
  • Select model
  • Select your dealership
  • Share your details
  • Pay and book online

The BS6 portfolio of the automaker includes Honda Amaze, Honda Civic, and Honda CR-V. Meanwhile, the bookings for the 2020 Honda WR-V are open, as well as the 2020 Honda Jazz has been tested too.

Rajesh Goel, Senior Vice President, and Director, Sales and Marketing, Honda Cars India Ltd said, “At Honda, providing ‘Joy of Buying’ to our customers is at the core of our corporate philosophy. Our newly introduced ‘Honda from Home’ facility offers a simplified and secure booking experience for the ever-evolving digital consumer who makes his purchase decisions online. Customers can now conveniently book their Honda cars from the comfort of their homes. This platform is part of Honda’s digitalization efforts in-car retail experience that not only drives convenience but also efficiency.”

Anticipating the post-lock-down scenario many automakers had decided to create a digital portal as the customers’ walk-ins at the dealership will be quite less. This online initiative can somehow boost the sales of the companies. Before Honda, many other companies like  Hyundai, Tata, and Mercedes had already launched their digital sales platforms. Meanwhile, BMW and Volkswagen have also entered the domain.

Justifying the tagline of “The Power of Dreams“, Honda Car India’s initiative to come up with this type of platform is a substantial marketing strategy along with understanding the customers’ needs of the hour.
